War is a 2019 Indian Bollywod Movie starring two of the leading action, versatile and energetic actors of Bollywood industry Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff both are acting first time together in a Bollywood film. War is produced under the one of the leading production house Yash Raj Films. War is slated to be released on Gandhi Jayanti 2nd October 2019. Siddharth Anand is the director of the movie who has earlier directed commercially successful action movie Bang Bang ( 2014 ). War was announced on Yash Chopra’s birthday by Yash Raj Films. Hrithik has teamed with Yash Raj Films after thirteen years post Dhoom 2 ( 2006 ). Movie was initially titled Fighters, the film’s title was changed to War after official teaser was released on July 15, 2019.Filming began in the second week of September 2018, and concluded on March 2019.The official trailer of the film was released on 27 August 2019 by Yash Raj Films. Tiger Shroff said in an interview he is excited to work with Hrithik Roshan as he considers him his idol. Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan both lead actors are brand ambassadors for Hrithik Roshan’s fitness brand HRX. Action sequences are choreographed by Andy R Armstrong from Hollywood and Mr Oh, who is an outstanding martial arts action choreographer from South Korea. Director Siddharth Anand stated that “We want to push the benchmark of action movies that are made in our country. So, we are bringing two of the biggest action choreographers together to design some of the most outlandish and visually-spectacular sequences”.

Lead cast includes Hrithik Roshan as Kabir Anang, Tiger Shroff as Khalid Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana as Colonel Luthra, Dipannita Sharma and Anupriya Goenka

Music is composed by Vishal Shekhar and lyrics are written by Rakesh Kumar commonly known as Kumaar. Dialogue are written by Abbas Tyrewala who has earleir penned dialogues for Bollywood classical and commercially successful movies like Munnabhai M.B.B.S. (2003), Main Hoon Na (2004) and Bang Bang! (2014).
