Stree Wiki Plot / Trivia Stree is a story of a town Chanderi where everyone is aware of a strange woman who calls men by their name and abducts them leaving behind their clothes. A tailor in Chanderi Rajkumar Rao falls in a trap with this mysterious girl Shraddha Kapoor who only appears during festival season. Her frequent disappearing acts makes his Rajkumar Rao friends suspicious about her and they start believing that she could be the Stree who is haunting the city. Movie is based on the urban legend of "Nale Ba" that went viral in Karnataka in the 1990s. Shooting has been done mainly in Chanderi and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
