Siddhant Chaturvedi is an Indian film actor who started his career with web-series Life Sahi Hai premiered on YouTube and Zee5 . In 2017 starred as a teenage cricketer in the Amazon Prime Video web series Inside Edge . Siddhant became famous after the release of debut movie Gully Boy in which he played the role of rapper MC Sher , movie was a hit and won him the Best Supporting Actor Filmfare Award 2020 [ ref ] .

Biography

Siddhant Chaturvedi was born on 29 April 1993 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh and moved to Mumbai when he was five years old . Following in the footsteps of his father, Siddhant pursued a career as a chartered accountant. It was only after winning a Bombay Times Fresh Face Contest in 2012 that he decided to move towards acting . Siddhant apparently is also trained in martial arts, dance and parkour [ Ref ] . He has also won the The Times of India’s Fresh Face Contest in 2013 . In 2019 ranked 19 in The Times Most Desirable Men list and 15 in 2020 [ Ref ] .
