Saand Ki Aankh is a biographical drama slated to be released on 25 October 2019 Diwali. Reliance Entertainment is producing the movie. Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar are the co-producers. Tushar Hiranandani is the director who is making debut in direction with Saand Ki Aankh. Tushar has earlier worked as a writer for various successful movies like ABCD ( 2013 ), Main Tera Hero ( 2014 ), Ek Villain ( 2014 ) , ABCD 2 ( 2015 ) and many more. Reliance Entertainment released the official teaser on 11 July 2019 and official trailer on 23 September 2019. Filming began on 10th February 2019 in Baghpat, Hastinapur and Mawana of Western U P. Filming ended on last week of April.
Story of the movie is inspired from real life oldest shooters in India Chandro Tomar ( Shooter Dadi ) and her sister in law Prakashi Tomar ( Revolver Dadi ) from Johdi Village, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Bhumi Pednekar is playing the role of Chandro Tomar while Tapsee of Prakashi Tomar. Earlier Kriti Sanon was roped in to play the role of Chandro Tomar but she opted out due to date issues. Prakash Jha who is playing the role of brick contractor and Vineet Kumar Singh are other main cast of the movie. Tapsee and Bhumi both trained in air pistol and rifle shooting to act as sharpshooters in the film. Music is composed by rising talent and upcoming star Vishal Mishra. “Kaise Hua” from Kabir Singh composed and sung by Vishal Mishra is already one of the best songs of 2019. Raj Shekhar has written lyrics for the music album.

Music is composed by Vishal Mishra and lyrics are written by Raj Shekhar who has earlier penned lyrics for Tanu Weds Manu. Sunidhi Chauhan, Jyoti Nooran, Vishal Mishra and Vishal Dadlani are the vocalist for this soundtrack.
