Ludo is a 2020 Bollywood movie streaming on Netflix from 12 November 2020 . It is directed by Anurag Basu known for directing hit movies like Murder ( 2004 ) , Gangster ( 2006 ) , Life in a Metro ( 2007 ) , Kites ( 2010 ) and Barfi ( 2012 ) . Ludo is a multi-starrer movie with Rajkummar Rao , Abhishek Bachchan , Aditya Roy Kapur , Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles . Ludo was the second release for Rajkummar Rao after Chhalaang in Diwali 2020 on a OTT platform . It was earlier scheduled to release on 24 April 2020 in cinemas .
Ludo movie received positive reviews from critics upon its release . Shilpa Shetty praised Anurag Basu for his direction and wrote “Dada, chalo agli wali “Ludo in a Metro!” . Shilpa has worked with Anurag in 2007 movie Life in a Metro . Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi’s performance was praised by all critics as well as the audience . Abhishek Bachchan performance makes you reminiscent of his acting in 2004 Mani Ratnam movie Yuva .
