Kajol worked in 32 films till 10 January 2020 , her last release was Tanhaji . Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge , Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Tanhaji are the biggest hits in his career . Kajol has done special appearances in films also like Kal Ho Naa Ho ( 2003 ) ,Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna ( 2005 ), Om Shanti Om ( 2007 ) , Student of the Year ( 2012 ) and Zero ( 2018 ) . Karan Johar considered Kajol as a lucky charm so she was in almost all films of Karan Johar as a leading actress or in a special role except in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil ( 2016 ) .

She explained that playing Diwan was the “toughest role” of her career as it was “difficult to play a mean character . Gupt was the sixth highest grossing movie of that year and she was awarded Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role .
